Viking greets all, November is here and the cold crispness in the air is a wonderful taste to this viking gals the senses. Fall has to be my favorite time of year, the colors are vibrant and change daily. The geese have finally arrived here and am enjoying the sound of waking to the sounds of honking geese flying overhead. Today it's a gorgeous sunny fall day, unlike the other day where it was grey and rainy... reminiscent of west coast weather. =) No thunderous activities... just rain rain rain!! Hope your November's are just as gorgeous as mine!! Cheers and God bless!! Botu

While driving through Arizona there were these gorgeous groupings of clouds that resembled a chinese dragon, at least to me.

Japanese beetle rescued from pool skimmer!! I realize some of you might not find insects the most... interesting or lovely subject to look at, but I for one find them most fascinating especially this little guy's colors and textures.
Bearded Iris's are beautiful flowers. The scent they exude is one I like to describe as purple bubble-gum!!

Hey howdy doo to you whoever you are that read this!! Allow me to introduce myself. The name is Queen Botu, friends call me Botu for short. Botu is a name for a character of a graphic novel/comic that I've been working on for many many moons, due sometime next year... but I say that every year. Just have to get some other things off my plate before I tackle it full on.
You gotta eat all your lima beans before Mom will give you dessert don'tcha know. ;)
I'm a graphic background artist for Uff Da Pro. working on a project called VIKINGS!! A web animated and online comic series due 2010. But the comic might just be out sometime this Christmas tide. Who knows?
I am in the band Sound Station (very cool acoustic jazz stuffs
Aside from those lovely pretty jobs, I am a photographer. I've always loved photography, especially landscapes and macro shots. I also play around with photomanipulation.
I've finally set aside enough shiny gold pieces to purchase a big old honkin' camera... still in the decision state... have to control my drooling over the 5D. Most of the photos I'll be posting were taken with my Canon Powershot A610 (a wonderful dig. camera, have been using it for almost four years now) or with the Canon AE1.
Can't wait to start showing off my stuff in the good old drawingboard.
