Q:zhuizi,I am a friend of Maggie in Kunming. I live in Melbourne, Australia.
She tells me you are very knowledgeable about Puer. May I ask you a question?
She and I visited Ning'er together and heard about the events in 2007.
Is it true that the price of Pu'er dropped soon after the county changed name to Ning'er from Pu'er? The name change and Pu'er tea festival was in April from 8th to 10th 2007.
A teashop owner told us the the name changed, then the price dropped, then the earth quake happened on June 3rd.
Can you please confirm this sequence of events? I do not know where to check about the drop in market price. Did it drop between April 8th and June 3rd?

Pu'er tea dropped soon is foreign to the county changed name.it dropped soon because the economy of Pu'er tea is faultiness, Pu'er tea business is a new industry,wich needs time to development.
Q:I agree with you. Of course a price drop would have nothing to do with the name change, I was merely interested in the sequence of events.
The Ning'er locals like to look at cosmic connections between events. This of course has no relation to logic market forces. However, if you have any evidence of a price drop around that time, I would be interested to read about it.

Do you know which year they started manufacturing Shu Pu'er in Menghai? Was it around 1970?
Was it only Sheng Pu'er available before that?
A:On Shu Pu'er, there are two periods. First period is handwork workshop, Hong Kong Shu Pu'er. In my interview article of luzhuxunm, initiator of Shu Pu'er, he invent the process way to Shu Pu'er into puer in 1945.Then the skill of process Shu Pu'er spread to Guangzhou, then spread to Kunming,Yunnan. Second period, WUQIYIN from Kunming tea factory improved the puer process technique in 1975.Since then, Shu Pu'er be produced in large scale industrialization. Produced by MENGAHAI is authorized produve. I have an article on "puer magazine" Feb.2008, if have chance you could read it.

We should take the thanksgiving mind whenever and wherever even though the festival belonging to the foreigners. i will appreciate each man i'v ever met in the past race of my life. to my parents:it is a miracle of them to lead me into the world and foster it and then bring it up. without them,i'll have no chance with courage to say words,to do anything. if it is the fact that god created the mankind,our parents created us,them are the god in my mind! someone said that we'll never treat our parents better than what they have done for us which we could not pay their deep affection back forever even if we try our best to respect them ,because that is the right obligations we should make. to manager to make everything we could to requite their boon as to reciprocate for a drop a whole spring.to my friends:friendship will be the friendship regardless the place where is each other or how long is the distance between us. either a call or a greeting and so on may come when you were not ready, and some hands will come with your trouble time. i like the feelings a crowd of friends gather to chat,to joke,to act whatever we will. there is no pressure,no vexation,no disappointment,no competition and evil,just pleasure. it is the most relaxing time but will not be so often like before as graduating from the college and much more things around us. waiting for the day come again in the hope.to nsage said that love is that you know the person you love is not the right people you respect and acknowledge the kinds of defect of her and then choose to love her neither dump all of her because of its shortcoming nor deny her all. right so! before you,i have not ever believed i could be so deeply absorbed in the love river and be falled in love with such a brilliant girl.i also have never thought how nice the couple space with you is which makes me want no chance to leave! finding suggest that my world will not be without you who bring me the sunshine,rain and dew,bellylaugh and tear,suspense and the all. you make me understand the meaning of being together in a boat regardless the weather and the obligation of forever throughout our life! my heart and my soul have been engraved with your name which will never be erased by any power given that it can destroy the universe. if to say that my parents gave me life, you make me change. it is the first time i thought for my future and happiness carefully,also the first time to think about others which make me relieve their real motive of my parents. i want to attend to you all my life as my parents done for me! in practice,life is just the time not enough to enjoy the happiness. however,we have so much things no chance to complete yet. e,somehow out of subject,heihei! in a word,thanks for all you bring me,my only lover,N. it is worthwhile to meet you this life whatever i would confront in the next life! other persons not mentioned here please forgive me, thanks for the experience with you. that would be the precious properties for my further life. i love you dad and mom,i love you my friends,i love you N,tomorrow will be better!
