Threadless Sketch

Threadless.com has a contest right now for a 'Pop 5' design... Pop 5 as in the Cranium board game, where the theme is 'Show them what you know'. My idea is to have a family portrait type deal, which is good, because board games are for all members of the family, but instead of heads have music players, which is good, because it represents showing what you know, and have said music players dating back to the age of the person represented, which is good, because grandpa's know grandpa things, kids know kids things, etc.

Hopefully it goes over well... the deadline is Friday so I'm hoping to have the final design finished rather soon.

Hmmm

I see grandpa and grandma, the kid and maybe the father. I'm not sure who the chick is...maybe the older sister or hot younger stepmom. And I think the guy up top in the middle is the Dad, but who's the guy on the left? Looks too old to be the father but too young to be a grandad...unless he's the hot younger stepmom's dad. Cool idea, I'm just stupid when it comes to family structures. See I came from a broken home, literally. One morning I woke up, and the living room was flooded =)

Ha! Crap!

See, the mom got too grandma-like... The 8-track head is supposed to be the middle aged mom, record-player head is the middle aged dad, tape-deck head is the son in his 30's, cd-player head is the daughter in her 20's, and mp3-player head is her kid. Of course, old school radio head is the gramps.

Hopefully it doesn't have to be that specific, and just the age thing gets the point across!
