October 31, 2005 - The Interview!!
Well today I had my first Job interview in
a while for Graphic Designer, and yes I had to wear a Tie. ARGGHH.
Anyway today the temperature was really hot and my suit was Black. So
I'm there sitting at the interview choking from the tie and collar and
sweating not from nerves but because the room had no air conditioning.
So they gave me some water and I asked if I could unbutton my collar
because I was ready to pass out. Although the interview went well and
they were talking as if they were going to pick me up for a second
interview they decided against it. I'm not really upset at all but the
money would have been very good an helped me out of a bind. Apparently
my Art Portfolio killed my chances in the end they just didn't believe
that I could design web pages. But I reckon that they hired some Blonde
Bimbo with a skirt half way up her crutch for the Job. ANYWAY I told
them that I enjoyed the interview and they apparently did to My
wisecracks actually made an impression for once. So they said in a
couple of months to the new year they may contract me to do some
artwork for them. I'm not holding my breath and they may have wanted to
soften the Blow from telling me the Bad news but still I may follow up
on it just in case.
