November 18, 2006 - Jonny Quest and Bandit
You may not know this or even remember, But once upon a time I used to be an Artist. Not a very good one mind you but an artist all the same. I really miss drawing I can't even think of the last time I drew. Maybe the drive just hasn't been there I don't know. Anyway I'm doing some new stuff inspired by a new show that I've seen called 'Jonny Quest' I say new but this show has been around for over 40 years.
A little Background I have always wanted to see this show the first time I ever heard of it was when I was five and my parents bought me one of those Flinstones books from Kmart at the back of the book it told of all the other books in the HannaBarbera line one of which was a picture of a child with a little white dog. Thats it my first taste of Jonny was an add and this was about 1980. Yeah I'm Old.
Since then I have always wanted to see this show and I had a hells chance of ever seeing it on TV here in Australia. We Suck!!
Fast Foward 26 years, and although it saw a release in the USA on DvD I can almost guarantee it will never be brought to these shores. But I Finally have seen it due to the powers of the Web.
ALL I can say is WOW...... If this show had been on back when I wanted to see it as a Five Year Old I know I would have absolutely loved it as a child as I do now.!!
Anyway enough of the reminice as a Celebration of this experience I've done this here picture.
I hope anyone else who is a fan of this show enjoys it.
