July 15, 2006 - Human Compassion!!
Well after being in Melbourne for less than a week its really hitting me how much I miss you guys and girls. I can't wait to get home now just another 8 Days. However I now have a little time to chat to you all and I think it would be great to talk about the experiences so far I have had in this Dismal Place called Melbourne.
On Thursday Morning I headed into the city via Train, when I arrived a girl was on a street corner trying to ask for help from people and 'Everybody Ignored her' They acted like she didn't even exist running quickly by. BASTARDS!!
I stopped and said How can I help you and she acted really suprised and told me she needed directions on how to catch a Tram to an exhibition. I told her which way but it was her first time in Melbourne and she didn't have a clue where to go. So I told her just to follow me and I'll show her which station she needed to be at, she could not believe I was willing to help her. And So for few minutes we walked and talked and I found out she was from sydney and it was her first time in melbourne I admitted to her that I was a Tourist myself from Tasmania and she was like 'Oh your Kidding Me' and we had a good chat!
Finally I pointed to the Tram and said that was the one. She thanked me I asked her name she acted suprised again and replied 'Regina' and I said 'Well it was nice to meet you Regina' she asked mine and shook my hand and thanked me I said 'Have a nice trip' and she said the same and to which she got on the Tram.
Why am I telling you this story, Well if you can see the moral of this story it is be nice to people and it can make a person feel good helping out others. I can't believe the arrogance of some people and I hate it Melbourne is just full of Assholes too busy from their own little world to care about anyone but themselves. I HATE THAT.
Anyway the next day I went to the Zoo and I've got some photos to share from the experience when I get back from my trip so hopefully my camera batteries will hold out a little longer until then. I also saw 'SUPERMAN RETURNS' Sorry to end on a bad note like that after such a lovely story (yes I hated it DON'T GO AND SEE IT)
