May 7, 2006 - Coolest Monster EVER!!
Not much Scares me, I can say that with some confidence. However there are somethings that trigger memories of a frightened childhood that still give me chills. One of which is the mechanical music band from Dr Phibes. Theres just something about mechanical men that I find just so freaky. I can take the Vincent Price monster makeup any day but when its a monster with absolutely no consciousness and robotic in nature even when they just play music I can't stand it.
And so it was this week that I watched the latest episode of Season two of Doctor Who, 'The Girl in The FirePlace' ohhhh Boyyyy Best Episode Ever!! Never has something scared me as much as this episode. Killer ClockWork Robots wreak havok in 17th Century France to collect body parts!! Definately one of my favorite episodes of this season and Sophia Myles is just so damn hot as Madame Du Pompadour.
I now can't wait for next week the return of the CYBERMEN!!!

| Thanks Kristen, I believe the First Season is currently on Sci Fi Channel in the US possibly on friday nights and is cut to fit ads. So to see it all uncut I suggest renting the dvd box set which comes out July 4th. You have to see this its a great show. :) |
