February 12, 2006 - Time for some Art!!
Well, its been a little while since last I posted, and I believe its time to post some art.
Unfortunately being a talented artist sometimes has its drawbacks. Case
in point I was asked to participate and to begin to design some
character designs a few months back on a 3D animated film.
Unfortunately like alot of things people have this total unrealistic
view that their ideas will see fruition and that an amatuer artist like
myself will jump at a chance to do work for nothing. When an artist
says yes the workload should not suddenly increase to include other
things like backgrounds and layouts. This is wrong thinking and tries
to take advantage of the artist. When I said yes to the project there
were conditions and unfortunately the people involved didn't live up to
their end as such I quit the project in disgust. However its a good
bonus for you because you get to see some of the work I did ended up
completing and its all gonna end up in my published sketchbook. Heres a
snippet of what you will find inside.
