January 7, 2006 - Taste of Home
A few days ago, I went to the annual 'Taste
of Tasmania'. Once a year Tasmanias best business' of Food and Wine get
together to show off their wares for a week.
I was however in the mood for a indian dish of 'Butter Chicken' being
my favorite until I was abruptly talked out of it when a family walked
passed me holding paper cones full of fish and chips. So I changed my
mind and had what I can only describe was the best meal I have had in
ages. The food was Exceptional and really showed the best of Tasmanian
produce. It was definitely worth every penny. Too top it off I had an
icecream afterwards Yum Yum.
Its a pity that the Taste is only open once a year as thousands
of people visit just to have some food (I kid you not) and the Tourists
seem to love the style of life we lead.
