December 25, 2005 - MERRY CHRISTMAS with Song!!
Ahhh yes Mistletoe and Candy Cane time,
well maybe everywhere else but this year at my home its very very quiet
and low key. Maybe its the fact that once you grow up learn theres no
Santa ( If there are any kids out there Uncle Matts just lying ) you
kinda lose that love of the holiday. Maybe when you have kids you share
it through their eyes. But in the meantime it just seems a real Bitchy
business where people fight over presents and have to meet up with
Relatives they hate with a Passion as their kids run amuck breaking
things that aren't theirs thinking they own the place while showing off
their latest $500 toys that won't last out the day!!
Yes I have to agree I'm a little bit a scrooge this time of year, I
think he had the right idea and as I get a regular visit every
Christmas Eve from Chuck, Lilly and Graham the Christmas Ghosts ( I
know them all on a first name basis by now) One wonders how many more
of this yultide Gayment I will have to endure.
To be honest I think the only time I have ever been truly happy this
time of year is when I got my Castle Greyskull way back in 1983. Or
then again maybe the Castle of Lions way back in 86. Ahhh Memories.
ahem.
But enough of my funny banter I just wanted to wish you all a very
Merry Christmas and apologise for not having sent out a Christmas Card
to people my sorry excuse is I only had time to get it 65% done due to
the big things happening in the past few weeks. But I do have a special
gift to give to my friends who take the time to actually read my
rantings and its available to download until January 1st so download it
now!! Its a novelty christmas song but I love this sort of stuff.
