Thursday, February 2, 2006 - The Guitar and the Whale

I've been working like a maniac lately, thus having very little time left to draw... I'm still boarding that short comic of which you can see glimpses below, and I've also started doodling a whole new batch of superhero illustrations, including my own animated Batman kind of thing. Hopefully I'll get down to most of them.

In the meantime, here's a new illustration, which marks the beginning of a new direction in my style. The past few months have been very enriching on a creative level, getting more and more passionate about cinema, while keeping an eye out for illustration ideas. I've put a lot of thinking into why I need to create, what I have to tell... and here's a first result. It's not groundbreaking, but it's something personal that's meant to say something about my universe.
