Reality Shift

12/19/2006 - Happy holidays!

What a freaky month December has been- caught a bad cold and then a leg infection! But the health is coming back to normal, so I should be able to celebrate the upcoming holidays properly...with alcohol! Because of the medication, I couldn't drink anything, and I'm usually not a big alcohol drinker. But dang if the fact that I suddenly couldn't simply made me want to drink more and more!

There also should be big changes job wise, and I may tell more later on. For the moment, sit and wait.

Item 1- Time to start pimpin' !
I'll have a ten page story (art by me, story by J.Torres) in an upcoming Teen Titans Go comic. #40, coming out at the end of February. This is a split issue, where two artists illustrate short stories.

Item 2- Still in total Avatard fan mode, and the season finale got some wheels turning in my head. This joke will go over the head of anyone who doesn't know the show, but what the hey (rough pencils with quick Photoshop colours added on for les cheapness)

Je crois pas que je réussirais à vivre de juste des contrats de comics ou bédé. Ceux qui réussissent, bravo!
Je vais quand même continuer à travailler sur des petits projets bédés à gauche et à droite.

Ah oui, du bon boire...*soupir*. Encore quelques jours d'antibiotiques et watch out SAQ!

Mon fils Raphaël et moi te disons WOW!!!! pour tout ton blog: Il est fan des TeenTitans et possède aussi des légos Avatar (cadeau du père Noël) alors en voyant tout tes esquisses et dessins et en sachant EN PLUS que tu as reçu Jeff Smith à la maison ( Chanceuse va !)!!!!! Merci beaucoup Paul! Ah, pour le truc de Jeff Smith, c'était un peu organisé dernière minute- dommage, ça aurait été bien d'avoir été plus de monde. Une prochaine fois, peut-être :D

Un comics de Teen Titans par Nofret? C'est le genre de comics que j'ai envie d'acheter!! Très marrant ces petits strips Avatar... je ne connais rien de la série mais j'adore ton style humoristique, très expressif.
