Marc-Andre and I are going to see Interpol tonight with friends.
I hope it stops raining by then.
This morning, coming to work, I witnessed a accidental misfortune that was quite funny.
There's some excavation work happening near the Metro station and many pipes are connected to these out-of-ground yellow plastic tubes. It's quite ugly.
Anyways, a few guys all dressed the same were trying to park a rented van on the street. 2 guys in the back were giving signals to a 3rd that was driving. All of a sudden, one starts to scream "STOP!!!" and even tries to puch away the van, but it was too late and the back of the truck hit the plastic pipe so hard that it exploded. The whole area was flooded instantly. The man who had yelled at the other to stop was screaming and cursing, while the driver was suprisingly calm and was trying to appologise. The construction workers left thier heavy machinery and precipitated away from the big hole they were digging, which was filling with water rapidly. And a bunch of people got wet. It was funny and impressive. Bet that driver will be unemployed this afternoon, tough...
