So relieved!!!!

Ok, well, what would be horrible news for the old me is fabulous new to the new me. I am not lead artist of the next project at work.
WOOHOOO!!!
I did it last time, it was a horrible yet resoursefull experience and I learned a lot, but I never want to do it again unless I have to.
What happened is that the new project got started and I kind of got thrown into the lead role but I didn't want it. I had no answers to my questions, no squeduel, nothing. I tried to keep everything afloat, but the heart wasn't there. I kept pushing and saying that the project needed more people on it. Then this week I hear, "Hey, this project needs more poeple on it."
DUH~!!!
So my boss got me in his office and asked me if I had enjoyed my last experience. I said I did because I learned a lot but I also hated it because I am a person who worries a lot. And leading a project isn't really artsy stuff. It's like managing time and people and see that everything is done on time. And that's worriesome. Plus like I said, I worry a lot. So you can imagine the drama.
So he said, he's give the job to another person because he had noticed that being lead was making me unhappy.
I'm glad I did it; it was a personal challenge and I was worthy of it. YAY! But I just want to draw. I don't want to be a bossy figure. Besides, the lead artist just gets to see what gets done. He/she doesn't really get to pick the look of the game. That's still the art director's call.
So, yay for me, more mature and mellow Sarah.
We did an OC session at lunch. The theme was "Monster Party". I made mine "old school". Din't have enough time to finish it tough, what with eating and all...

Again, peeps, YOU DON"T HAVE TO BE MEMBER TO LEAVE A COMMENT!!! I'd love to hear from y'all.
Pour mes amis francophones, je suis desolee de mon anglais. Mais comme vous comprennez l'anglais de toute facon, c'est un peu parceque vous etes meilleurs que les anglais que j'ecris dans cette langue.

Hey, I'm glad your happier with your work stuff...Thats cool. Did you really draw this during your lunch break??? It would take me a lifetime or two... I'm having a week from hell myself in school... I'm pretty freaked out... Proof, i'm doing Biochemistry at 10:06 m on a friday night...(When did I turn into such a geek?)
