It's never my turn. I'm always average and almost there but not quite. Meh.
There's this "Alumni" show at my old school and my friend was selected and I wasn't. Makes me quite more sad than I would have tought. I mean, it's just a little something to show stuff from people who used to be students there, but I make a living doing what I learned in school; so why not me? I know, I'm probably just complaining for nothing and it could be worst and stuff, and it's true.
But I still feel like a piece of shit. I'm never best at anything. I'm at best above average. And in the bottom of that selection. And in this case, not even close.
Bitter you say? You bet your sweet ass.

WTF! you are way above average, not only in your art skills. you are amazing at drawing people, you capture subtle nuances in their expressions and you're great at coming up with characters on your own as well. SO SHUSH!

hehe. Don\'t we all feel that way. mediocre at the best. Except, I gave up trying, and I never felt the need to prove anything to anyone. My biggest critic is me. And I think I suck. To make it better, the art director at the place I work at, really likes works of Alex Ross And wants me to adopt his style. And I had trouble explaining that, if i could do stuff as good as A Ross, I wouldn\'t be working for him and for a crappy money I\'m on atm.
 Anyhow, hang in there dude. your work is good, and getting better, and do not try to do it to impress others, do it to make yourself happy.
 Anyhow, too long a whinge, and all about me. Sorry, thanks for visiting my crappy blog, and all the best on your quest.
