Well it's come to this...

I'm participating in super cool lady artist Nofret's Potter Fan Art Special. I find fan art extremly geeky and lame unless it's well done; Then it's pretty cool. Hers is so funny and great that I had to give it a shot. But I think mine leans a bit more over the geeky/lame side. I liked it when I first finished it, but now I see a bunch of things I could have done better. I guess it's too late now.  I wanted to have it a little naughty without being gross and sick like some fan art can be. If you want to see some of that, Google can help you. I wish I had cute guys secretly peek under MY skirt when I was 16. Then again, I didn't wear skirts. Or know any cute guys.

C'est la premiere fois depuis que je dessinais des bonhommes de Disney pour mes cousins que je fait quelque chose de "fanart" plus pousse qu'une simple parodie. Je suis un peu decue du resultat, meme si quand je l'ai termine, je me trouvais pas trop pire. Bof, peutetre que ca va mieux sortir imprime. J'ai hate de voir ce que les autres artistes vont avoir fait pour la petite publication de Nofret.

ummm....Like Wow! Sarah, This is so great! Like freakin' wow! Your form is just spot on! And what you did with the hair and fabrics is very nice. This looks very well thought out. This whole piece is blowin' mind! I'm not even a fan of Harry Potter, but this does it more justice than that last movie.

i think the reason why u don't like it ,is because it lacks a bit of personal details, being a fan means means want to be one of the heroes\characters or want to be a part of the hroes world...so there is amerge between you fantasy and the world you "adore" .
again , maybe you ought to put a little detailing , like posters or magic items and some stuff the hangs around you in your life...
