My boyfriend hates his job. And it does suck. But he just told me he was considering applying at a job that may or may not have him move out of the province for a year. Or more.
I can't live with that.
I could stand a few weeks, months, but a year? no way!
I could not stand the distance. As much as I love him, I am a social person and we have this proverb in french "Loin des yeux, loin du coeur."
It means, when someone is far away, you don't care about them that muh.I doubt that I would do anything wrong, but what if I met a nice guy while he was away? What if we became friends? What if I get really lonely and forget myself? And what about him, so far away? won't he be tempted by the fruit of another?
GRR!!!

I'm kind of mad at him now because of this. I think that's why I'm jumping to the worst senarios right away. I'm a drama queen.

And it'sonly a remote possibility that if he gets the job that he gets sent away. But still... what if he idolises me when he's away and sees when he comes back that I'm not as special as I was in his memories?
I hope he doesn't get it.
I hope he finds a nice well paying job here in Montreal. I hope he leaves the company he works for now and starts a new life where he's appreciated.
Poor lovy-bug.
I want only his happiness. And mine too, while we're at it.

Well, what about he gets the job and you follow him? Maybe you could also get a job in this new town.
Just a thought.
