Color addedPosted on 5/16/2008 at 10:06 AM - 1 Comments - Post Comment - Link![]() Thanks Mike for your comments on the earlier post. Here is the colored versions of the illos below. The color is real basic, as these will be sized down to go on a 3.5 by 2.5 card for a family board game. In the game, you draw a card and perform an action, or in the instances of the illos, perform the action that is shown on the card. Then each successive person needs to perform all the previous actions before there turn and then their card with out messing up. The list of action increases till somebody messes up and then it start anew. I wanted the colors to be somewhat off beat and not too kid like. Often when we do illustrations here at work, the colors are very primary and fully saturated. These are still pretty bright, but less primary then what we typically do. Well, not on to the next thing in line. - Kirk Illustrations copyright © Patch Products, Inc. All rights reserved. Finally DonePosted on 5/15/2008 at 10:01 PM - 1 Comments - Post Comment - Link![]() I should know better then getting myself looped into projects I really do not have time for, or at least not letting myself get behind the eight ball time wise. I just finished up 91 illustrations for a game for work. I patterned the illustrations after another artists style, if you can guess who, you get a gold star. These are some of my favorites. They get colored, but I do not have the colored versions right now. For simplicity, they are colored with just flat colors. I really need to put together some of my recent works and put up a web site. It may be time kick start my freelance career and pursue projects seriously. Thanks for stopping by and God bless. - Kirk Panda ManPosted on 4/10/2008 at 8:06 PM - 1 Comments - Post Comment - Link![]() I did a couple of sketches for a project I am working on. This one did not quite fit the format for the project, but I like the pose, so I thought I would share. - Kirk Just for FunPosted on 4/6/2008 at 9:57 PM - 1 Comments - Post Comment - Link![]() Alot of ups and downs of late has had me off balance as far a my life goes. One thing I really need is to draw more and stop wasting time. Here is something I just sketched up when working on another project this weekend. Have a good one - Kirk Time for the 60sPosted on 2/7/2008 at 9:43 PM - 1 Comments - Post Comment - Link![]() Been busy crazy, hectic the past two weeks. Should be slowing down here soon. Getting close to the 1960s time for StarBlast in my page progression, so time to start drawing him this way more. Now this build is not correct, but just messing around as I have not had much time to draw of late. I like the body language of the center pose. By this time in his career, he is getting somewhat cynical. Oh by the way, we got 10 inches of snow on Wednesday. Everyone at work left at 2, but I stayed because I had stuff that had to be done that day. Work is not much fun when everyone else is gone. I didn’t leave till five. I can drive in just about any conditions. Snow is no big deal. Infact, it use to be more fun to drive in the stuff in the days of rear wheel drive. Oh I miss those days. I would lay on the gas around every corner and be fishtailing all over the place. Front wheel drive stinks. Oh well, we all have to grow up, don’t we. Take care all - Kirk Golden Age PosterPosted on 1/28/2007 at 7:58 PM - 2 Comments - Post Comment - Link
