I just borrowed a copy of this much talked about and seldom seen "gem" from my wife's co-worker. Originally aired November 1978, and never shown or released to the public in any way since.

oh my god the HORROR!

It IS as bad as you've heard -nay - it is worse!
I started by burning a copy (thinking I would want it) and the burn didn't work too well - so I watched the master copy.

I no longer want a copy of my own.

And I think you would have to pay someone significant amounts of money to sit through the program in it's entirety w/o fast forwarding. Mission: Impossible!

I think the only significant part is the animated bit that first introduced Boba Fett. The animation is "okay" by most standards - but it's freaking Oscar worthy compared to the rest of the show.
