Why is it
so hard to get public transportation to work properly? And if it really is so
hard, and the things break down all the time, how come they cant give any valuable
information?
The other
day I was taking the subway from the outer end of the red line in Stockholm in to the central station. Thats roughly
a trip that takes 15 minutes. But naturally there has been a breakdown of the
traffic, and no trains are coming.
Then they
fix the problem. Traffic to resume right now is the message. Ten minutes
later they gladly inform us that the traffic now has resumed. However, the
traffic has only resumed from the central station. This means that the next
train will be arriving where I am in 15 minutes. But it takes another five
minutes for them to tell us that.
Inform us
right away. It cant be that hard to say the next train will be leaving your
station in 30 minutes. Whats the point
of all this? No point. I just had to complain a little. And the title? Nothing. I just love the Beatles.
